2L Original Milk
One packet of sago
1/4–1/2 cup of sugar
3 tsp vanilla
A generous sprinkle of cinnamon
Topping – a light sprinkle of nutmeg
Soak sago in soy milk overnight and keep covered.
Place soaked sago in a large pyrex bowl and microwave for 15 minutes.
Stir well and microwave for a further 15 minutes.
Ensure sago no longer has a hard white centre and the mixture is nice and thick.
Add sugar, cinnamon and vanilla and mix well. You might want to add more soy milk at this stage to make the consistency to your liking.
Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
Cover and place in the fridge until cool.
Enjoy with stewed or tinned black plums.
